I REALLY LIKED HER BOOK!, Friday, 13 August 2010 Written by Sarah
Narrative Review (More detail = more helpful) BACKGROUND & GOALS: I was down on luck when I met this counselor one day. I had talked to her, and she gave me a copy of her book to read, and I realized after I read a couple of chapters that I had to go back to school and get my GED. Today, I am preparing to go to college. It is all because of my counselor that I am doing this! DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: This counselor has not charged me any fees. The most valuable thing is that she gave me time to read and digest the idea that I really have to go back to school and focus on what I want to do with my life to benefit my children. RESULTS & FINAL THOUGHTS: I will be getting my GED by the end of August and I am going to Ivy Tech to start off with in the fall. My counselor feels that going into a 4 year school after I have been out of school so long is not a good idea, that I need to build up to being able to do that level of work. Would you recommend this consultant or hire them again?: yes

She Delivers On Multiple Levels, Friday, 13 August 2010 Written by Capt.
Narrative Review (More detail = more helpful) BACKGROUND & GOALS: I wish I had known about this before I sent my son off to the University of Indiana.. she offers so much, and she has written a book to help students too. I am really impressed with how she has organized things. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: I work in a rough area of town, and this counselor is willing to take time to talk to the people in my community on how to turn their lives around, and then go to two better neighborhoods and offer her services there. She brings so much that we dont have here in Indy to our table. RESULTS & FINAL THOUGHTS: This counselor is really good at taking the time to listen to people and help direct them into programs that can help them grow. She is more interested in getting those who have never had exposure into a program they can handle, and for those who can meet the objectives, she pulls all the plugs to help them make the right choices. We are so blessed to have this in our community now. Would you recommend this consultant or hire them again?: yes

Narrative Review (More detail = more helpful) BACKGROUND & GOALS: I was so frustrated with my son. He was just not responding and one day I met this woman while waiting on coffee. She opened my eyes like never before. I decided to hire her, and she took control of the situation and calmed the anxiety of my son. He was able to focus on the task at hand, and with such ease. I dont know what she did! DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: I let her deal with him from the initial phase of trying to decide where he wanted to go and campus visits to the acceptance, and it seemed like a lot of money, but when you realize she treats kids with dignity and respect and sees them through acceptance, it is not as much as you think. RESULTS & FINAL THOUGHTS: She wrote a book which I bought at the book store. It was well written to the student offering ideas for thought that he could easily work with. Would you recommend this consultant or hire them again?: yes
