Narrative Review (More detail = more helpful) BACKGROUND & GOALS: When contemplating the morass of information, the complexities of the college admissions process and, simultaneously trying to analyze the many different colleges and universities across the USA I decided it would be prudent to hire an expert who could inform us about the realities and intricacies concerning the college admissions environment. There is a lot of mythology which abounds in this process, therefore, it is important to ascertain, as accurately as possible, the truth about the many colleges and the process in general. I found this Consultant after an exhaustive search of the Internet. I talked to and interviewed at least 7 or 8 College Consultants across the USA. After talking to and asking this consultant numerous questions over several phone calls, I knew he had the breadth and depth of knowledge to help my son. My son attended a large Public High School in a large metropolitan area and really had no idea about where he wanted to attend college. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: We worked with Mr. Dave Montesano. HIs cost varies depending upon the service, as he has a menu of different services which he provides. I can say his cost is very fair and reasonable, given his outstanding advice and the magnitude of the "issue" - college admissions. HIs services are too many to name, but they cover the entire gamut of any and all services which are critical to helping your son or daughter obtain the best advice, information and resources, when it comes to researching the numerous colleges across the USA and in playing a critical role in strategizing to help your son or daughter obtain maximum results. RESULTS & FINAL THOUGHTS: My son was admitted to many excellent schools including : Grinnell, Carleton, NYU, Whitman, Occidental, Pitzer, Brandeis, BU, Skidmore, Ithaca and others. He is currently a Senior in High School and has not made a final choice - the good news - he has many superb choices ! The Counselor has spent a huge amount of time helping educate us regarding the pros and cons of the many schools. Without his help, my son would not have known how to navigate the process, also, he made many excellent suggestions and recommendations which were critical in enhancing college admissions decisions. In other words, he helped my son get into many great schools. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr. Dave Montesano, without any hesitation. In my opinion he is undoubtedly in a class all by himself ! If you are considering hiring a college counselor or consultant, you must talk to him because of his invaluable counsel and advise. In brief, again, he helps deliver great results !! Would you recommend this consultant or hire them again?: yes
