Narrative Review (More detail = more helpful) BACKGROUND & GOALS: I hired Bill Dennett the summer before my senior year after interviewing several other consultants recommended by a respected source. I hired Bill to help me understand the process, determine which schools were a fit, advise me about the essay composition and advocate for me with the colleges. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Bill was helpful in advising me on my essay composition and in general with his comfortable bedside manner. He was totally off base with matching my stated preferences with colleges. He played no role in assisting me with the applications. To my knowledge, he did not have a single live conversation with a college about my credentials. He had great difficulty even remembering where I applied. RESULTS & FINAL THOUGHTS: What was amazing was during my ENTIRE senior year, Bill did not initiate any contact with me. I called and sent several emails inquiring about his contacting colleges on my behalf and never received a substantive answer. In the end, he did not even inquire where I was admitted or where I am attending. Thankfully, he never sent me a final bill for the last half of the fee. Is he still alive? Would you recommend this consultant or hire them again?: no

Narrative Review (More detail = more helpful) BACKGROUND & GOALS: Junior year, my school college counselor did not have much confidence in my ability to get into college.I went to a very prestigious and highly ranked new england boarding school and i wanted to go somewhere outside of the northeast my therapist recommended him I needed someone outside of the school feeder sphere none DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: bill dennett I don't know the cost, but he recommended several positive choices for me and read my essays and gave useful feedback and was solely focused on my personal needs. his positive outlook on my ability to get into a great college RESULTS & FINAL THOUGHTS: usc, rice, american university at paris, american university at rome, umiami, university of san francisco rice university congratulating me and being an overall positive person in what had already been a very very VERY stressful and competitive time Would you recommend this consultant or hire them again?: yes
